Kerry Kirkwood

Overseer

Pastor Kerry was born and raised in Amarillo, Texas, and later moved to Tyler with a vision to plant a church. That vision came to life on July 17, 1987, when he founded Trinity Fellowship. Since then, he has dedicated his life to helping others discover their passion and reach their full potential. Pastor Kerry is passionate about strengthening the body of Christ, and he is committed to seeing individuals grow into strong, secure people.

Diane, Pastor Kerry’s wife, plays an integral role at Trinity Fellowship. She leads the prayer ministry, overseeing weekly prayer meetings and helping to cultivate a spirit of intercession in the church. Diane also serves as the East Gate Director for the Texas Apostolic Prayer Network, where she coordinates intercessory representatives from 24 counties across East Texas.

Together, Pastor Kerry and Diane are the proud parents of four children and have been blessed with eight grandchildren. Their unwavering commitment to faith, family, and leadership continues to inspire those they serve.

Alan Latta

Born into a pastor’s family in Minnesota, Alan was raised in Illinois, then Monrovia, Liberia and later in Bloomington, IL before moving with his family to Rhodesia – Zimbabwe – where they planted a congregation in 1976; which is now known as New Life Covenant Church of Harare.
 
A year after meeting Yvette Selbin there, they married and moved to Houston, Texas; where they started their own family and Alan completed his B. A. in Theology. Moving to the DFW area and then Granbury, their two children – Summer and Zane – were blessed to grow up in Hood County.  They are now both married and have wonderful children of their own.

As Senior Pastor’s wife,  Yvette has served in Children, Youth, Women, and Worship Ministries.  Currently, she ministers to individuals and families through wise counsel and reconciliation ministry; as well as hosting Spirit led meetings in their home and beyond; which are called HouseFires.

Ed Herald

Board Member

Ed Herald is the founding and Lead Pastor of Victory Church in Central Illinois. A seasoned minister with the heart of a spiritual father, Ed is passionate about helping people experience a deeper, more vibrant relationship with their Heavenly Father and walk confidently in their God-given calling. For more than 38 years in ministry, including 28 years as Lead Pastor, he has faithfully served the local church while ministering to pastors, leaders, and congregations across the United States and internationally.

In addition to his role at Victory Church, Ed serves on the board of the Revive Church Network, is Vice-Chair of the Bethel Ministerial Association, and serves as Head of School at Foundation Christian Academy. He also provides apostolic encouragement and leadership to pastors and churches seeking renewal, health, and spiritual strength. Ed has received specialized training through Freedom in Christ Ministries and Vision Life Ministries, equipping him to guide believers into the freedom and wholeness found in Christ.

He has been married for 46 years to his high school sweetheart, Beth. Together they have raised three sons, each actively involved in ministry alongside their wives, and are blessed with 13 grandchildren. Nothing brings him greater joy than investing in his family and teaching the next generation about the Father’s love.

His life verse, Isaiah 54:17, continues to shape his ministry and message: that God’s servants walk in confidence, protection, and divine vindication through Christ.

Ellis Newman

Board Member

A native Texan, Ellis received his bachelors degree from McMurry University Abilene, Texas, in vocal performance. He served as a youth and music minister in his home town of Odessa, Texas, and then moved to Ruston, Louisiana to do the same. Sensing a call to pastor college students, he pursued his Masters of Divinity at Asbury Seminary in Wilmore, Kentucky, while serving churches by developing worship teams in the area, and serving as chaplain at Pikeville Methodist Hospital. 

Upon completing of his Masters degree at Asbury, he returned to serve as an associate pastor in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and then to Natchitoches, Louisiana. as a campus minister at Northwestern State University & local pastor. In 2006 he left his previous church affiliation to plant a non-denominational fellowship called “The River Community Church”. 

He married Melinda Mitchell in 2008 who had helped establish the fellowship and today they co-pastor this church and their community. Ellis and Melinda desired The River to be under a spiritual covering and so they joined Revive Network in 2015. It has proven to have some of the best Kingdom community anywhere with individuals that truly desire to connected the body of Christ and exalt Jesus
as King!

Nelson Coffman

Pastor Nelson Coffman attended Northeast Texas Bible College and graduated from “Christ for the Nations Institute” in Dallas, Tx. He has served in pastoral ministry for 36 years and is currently serving as the Founding Pastor of Harvest Hill Church in Midlothian, TX. He has raised
up many leaders and has a passion to help people come into the fullness of God’s purpose and destiny for their lives. He has a heart to help pastors and ministry leaders survive the difficult season of ministry.

Pastor Nelson has been married to Karen since 1975 and they have 3
grown children who are all serving the Lord in the work of ministry. They also have 9 amazing grandchildren.
